Symbolism of the Healing Woman
This antlered healer, inspired by Anasazi pictographs, brings together the elemental forces of Earth to perform the ceremony of healing. Her headdress, topped with antlers represents the animal world. The mask, owl-like, represents the other two-leggeds, the birds. In her hands she carries a switchlike wand and branch, bringing in the plant forces.
