Symbolism of the Bear Track
Grandmother-grandfather bear is the guardian of the mountain country. Her resources are courage, strength, and exuberance. The bear is also one of the forms of the goddess Artemis, the ancient "Lady of the Mountain,"also called "Lady of the Beasts" since the animals are under her protection. The mark of her paw designates her power.
