Symbolism and Meaning of the Corn Mother
She is the many-breasted Mother Goddess, Ishtar/Isis, known also as the Mayan Tonantzin and the Virgin de Guadalupe. She brings forth the fruits of life and abundance standing on the horns of the crescent moon, always the symbol of her power.
