A royal figure is seated between two pillars, a sword in the right hand and the scales of justice in the left. This card is representative of the law of karma or "as ye sow, so shall ye reap." The card signifies a position of choice ( the scales) along with the ability to cut away to the truth of a situation (the sword). The pillars here lead into one world and those of the High Priestess into another.
